The chronometer for estimating longitude, and the sextant for estimating latitude were the two main tools used by early mariners to navigate.  Peaksurvivor is a tool to help you navigate the treacherous financial markets of the 21st century.
From the peak in 1929 it took 25 years to 1954 for the Dow to return to its previous level,... "buy and hold" didn't then and doesn't work now.
